A skydive might be something you’ve had on your bucket list for a while. So if you think it’s finally time to make the jump, why not raise some vital funds for the IBC Network UK at the same time?

We’re delighted to be working with Skyline to offer our supporters the opportunity experience one of the most thrilling fundraising activities out there, all while helping us continue our mission to support IBC patients and their family members.

Skyline works with airfields all across mainland UK, so you can find one that’s easy for you to get to or consider travelling to one that gives you some fantastic views.

Ultra Challenge Series 2025

  • LONDON 2 BRIGHTON ULTRA CHALLENGE®

    24-25 May 2025

    The ‘original Ultra Challenge’ – and you can take it on and  fundraise for your favourite charity. Over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit & determination over the weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with three quarter, half, marathon & quarter distance options also available – there’s a classic challenge for everyone!

  • Lake District Ultra Challenge

    7 - 8 June 2025

    Join us in the Lake District Challenge and take on England's finest countryside at your pace. The Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal.

    From there it's a full challenge anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills to Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves - with some stunning views en route - before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey. It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and theUltra Challenge support.

    With 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options also available - there's a challenge here for everyone –and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.

  • Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge

    21 - 22 June 2025

    A challenge event you can take on at your pace. The Cotswold Way Challenge invites you to walk, jog or run a distance of your choice, along a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special in aid of The IBC Network UK

  • Peak District Ultra Challenge

    28 - 29 June 2025

    Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run. From the Bakewell basecamp the full 100km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House, and on through varied terrain on a figure of 8 route with a few testing climbs, and some stunning views. This challenge will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. With 75km, 50km, 25km and 10 mile challenge options also available

  • North Downs 50 Ultra Challenge....Walk,Jog or Run it

    12 July 2025

    Join us in the North Downs with a fabulous challenge setting out from a Guildford basecamp. Take in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the

    North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. A route with real variety and some wonderful scenery & views – and easily accessible

    from London – there’s a North Downs 50 Challenge for everyone! It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support

  • Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge..... Walk, Jog, or Run it

    19 - 20 July 2025

    This is a new Ultra Challenge for 2025, set in the stunning Gower Peninsula – the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and famous for its golden beaches, limestone cliffs, wild moors, ridges, and woodlands.

    Our basecamp is in the grounds of the historic Penrice Castle, with weekend camping options – and the 100km challenge is a figure of 8 route made up of west & east loops which take in the best of the Peninsula, its history, and its varied and unique landscape. It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support!

    With 50km, marathon, 25km, and 10K challenge option as well, and a bar & entertainment at basecamp – this event will be the highlight the season!

  • South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge

    2 Aug 2025

    Take on the ‘South West’ challenge for 2025 – taking in the first Minehead section of the stunning & famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with

    an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. You can pick your distance. The full 50 km loop heads over Exmoor

    with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. It will test spirit & determination but is totally

    achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. With 25km and 10km challenge options also available -

    there's a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.

  • London Summer Walk

    23 Aug 2025

    Get active & explore some of the Capital’s historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section.

    Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks (short walk from the new Elizabeth Line station!) – the full 50km looped route heads through Charlton, along the Thames Path to Greenwich and the O2, Old Royal Naval College & the fabulous Cutty Sark, then onwards through central London – crossing the Thames via the Millenium footbridge. It’s then past the Tower of London, and on to the Olympic Park, before returning to Woolwich via the foot tunnel.

    A route steeped in history with iconic sights, and capped with a BBQ & bar at the finish – making for a wonderful end of summer celebration!

  • South Coast Ultra Challenge

    6 - 7 Sep 2025

    Take on some of England's finest scenery as a Walk, Jog, or a Run! An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail with stunning views over the sea to a Brighton mid-point. Devil's Dyke, welcome rest stops, a few ups & downs all lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an 100km amazing journey.

    It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support.

  • Thames Moonlight 10 Walk

    12 Sep 2025

    A fantastic evening walk through London, taking in famous landmarks along a great route with full support. Choose from a spirited 10km or an energetic 10 mile route, taking you past some of London’s most well-known sites – including St Pauls, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and more! Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way –helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special!

    Starting and finishing from the Oval, the route is fully signed. You can expect a great finish line moment, with a medal, glass of fizz and hot food. There’s full support, including medics and marshalls.

  • Thames Path Challenge ... Walk, Jog, or Run it

    13 - 14 Sept 2025

    The full Thames Path Ultra Challenge 100km follows England’s greatest river, from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. then on through Windsor and wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley – and will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support.

  • Thames Bridges Trek

    13 September 2025

    Join 2000 trekkers as we venture 25km across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline from its best vantage points.

    Follow a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics & marshals. Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special!

    Setting out from Putney Bridge - it's East towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges - each with its fascinating story - and a midpoint stop at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it's a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge.

    Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

  • CHILTERN 50 CHALLENGE

    27 September 2025

    50km looped route covers some of the best of the Chilterns countryside. You can Walk, Jog, or Run along historic trails and over rolling hills.

    Starting & finishing at a Base Camp in Henley Showground, there's a Saturday night celebration BBQ & entertainment with camping options. Passing through nature reserves, forests, and a few hills with great views - it's a route with real variety, and some wonderful scenery - and it's all easily accessible from London. With 25km and 10km challenge options also available - there's a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.

  • Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge

    11 Oct 2025

    This is the end of season Ultra Challenge – in the ‘Garden of England’ – with a basecamp near Maidstone, parking & weekend camping options.

    The main 50km looped route heads anticlockwise around the Kent Downs – starting on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, around picturesque Aylesford, and following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle, then the North Downs Way back to the showground finish line and celebration. It will test spirit & determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. With 25km and 10km challenge options also available - there's a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family.

    You may have to dig deep at times, you’ll meet new friends along the way, and the journey will be unforgettable! As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a big welcome from the cheer squad, a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

  • London Halloween Walk

    25 October 2025

    Why not treat yourself to a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts? Choose your distance, with 25km and 10km options, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and the creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval start & finish will meet, greet & shock.

    Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off home. Join as an individual or as a terrifying team
